1967-69 Camaro / Firebird Left Hand (Driver Side) Seat Adjusting Tracks

Josh's Muscle Car Parts reproduction seat adjusting tracks for 1967-69 models equipped with bucket seats. These tracks mount the bucket seats to the floor and allow the front seats to slide forward and backward. Manufactured to OEM specifications, these stamped steel brackets will replace the original brackets exactly.

Sold in pairs that will replace the brackets for one bucket seat. Each set includes the tension spring and adjusting lever with chrome knob for an authentic appearance.

hese tracks were designed to enable the driver's seat to be adjusted forward, backward, and in some cases, reclined for optimal driving comfort.

The seat adjusting tracks are mechanisms that allow the driver to move the seat to their desired position within the vehicle. They consist of a series of metal rails and brackets that are attached to the seat frame and the vehicle's floor.

The left-hand seat adjusting tracks were specifically designed for the driver's side seat, allowing the driver to make adjustments to their seating position. These tracks were mirror images of the right-hand tracks, which were used for the passenger seat.

The tracks typically featured notches or teeth that allowed for incremental adjustments, providing various seating positions to accommodate different driver preferences. The adjustment lever or handle was often located on the front side of the seat, allowing the driver to easily reach and operate it while seated.

The 1967-1969 Camaro/Firebird Left Hand Seat Adjusting Tracks were designed to be compatible with the original seat frames and mounting points in these vehicles. They were manufactured to meet the specifications and dimensions required for proper installation and functionality.

Fitment:

  • Camaro: 1967, 1968, 1969

The 1960s muscle car era was a time of great innovation and growth in the automotive industry. It was a period of intense competition between car manufacturers, as they sought to outdo one another with increasingly powerful and sophisticated vehicles.

During this time, muscle cars became increasingly popular, particularly among younger car enthusiasts. These cars were known for their large, powerful engines, aggressive styling, and high-performance capabilities. Some of the most iconic muscle cars of the era include the Chevrolet Chevelle SS, the Ford Mustang, and the Plymouth Road Runner.

The muscle car era was marked by a number of technological innovations that helped to push the limits of automotive performance. One of the most significant of these was the development of the V8 engine, which allowed for increased horsepower and torque. Other innovations included the use of lighter materials in car construction, the adoption of fuel injection systems, and the use of advanced transmission technologies.

The muscle car era was also marked by a strong sense of cultural significance. These cars were symbols of American muscle and power, and they were often featured in popular culture, such as movies and music. The muscle car era came to an end in the 1970s, as rising fuel prices and stricter emissions regulations led to a shift towards more fuel-efficient vehicles.

Despite the end of the muscle car era, these vehicles continue to hold a special place in the hearts of car enthusiasts around the world. They are celebrated as symbols of a bygone era of automotive innovation and power, and their legacy lives on in the modern high-performance vehicles of today.
