On an S10 Blazer Xtreme, the hood and tailgate stripes are a big part of what separates the package from a regular Blazer, and after twenty years of sun most original graphics are faded, chalky or peeling at the edges. This kit is a licensed reproduction of the Xtreme graphics, patterned for the Blazer's hood and tailgate, so the truck looks the way it did on the showroom floor.
What is included and color choices
The kit contains four pieces covering the hood and tailgate, with dual stripes and a pinstripe outline. There are no roof stripes because the Blazer Xtreme did not use them. Stripes are offered in gloss black, gold metallic, red, silver metallic or white, and a custom color is available for an additional charge; custom color kits cannot be returned.
Installation
Choose a warm day rather than a hot one. Wash the panels, then wipe them with isopropyl alcohol to remove wax and road film. Tape the stripe in place with a masking tape hinge, step back to check the alignment, and only then peel the backing. A wet application with a little soapy water lets you slide the graphic into its final position before it grabs. If you are removing old, cracked stripes first, a heat gun and a plastic razor blade make the job far easier. Most orders ship within 24 hours.
