Installation Instructions:
To properly install the heat-fused emblem, ensure you have the following tools on hand:
- Variable temp heat gun
- Heat resistant gloves
- 1 small "C" clamp or similar device
- 2 small blocks of wood or similar item
Step 1: Clean the area on the sill plate where the emblem will be applied, ensuring no oil or dirt remains for best adhesion. Suitable cleaning agents include paint prep, acetone, or even Windex.
Step 2: Heat the emblem's dry back adhesive film using protective gloves. The adhesive will change color, indicating that it’s ready for application.
Step 3: Carefully place the heated emblem in the preferred location on the cleaned surface.
Step 4: Use the blocks of wood for support and clamp the emblem in place to ensure proper adhesion. Allow it to cool before removing the clamp.
