Description

Restore the Rear Area of Your 1978 Chevrolet Corvette

Proudly made in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets. New carpet is one of the most noticeable upgrades in a restoration. This 12-piece Cutpile set is made by ACC for the 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Rear, molded to the shape of the application, and comes in 8 Cutpile colors.

Why Restorers Choose This Carpet

  • Carpet: ACC Cutpile, true automotive-grade carpet made to replace the factory material. ACC floor mats are made in the same carpet, so you can match them.
  • Pieces in the set: 12.
  • Shape: molded to the floor pan of this application; some trimming may be needed.
  • Built to meet or beat the original equipment specifications.
  • Note from ACC: Main rear, seat backs, 3 compartment door covers and 6 speaker covers. Not available in custom materials.
  • In the Color list: 8 Cutpile colors.
  • In the Backing list: standard backing, or EVA mass backing (about 45 mil) for extra sound and heat control.
  • Made in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets.

Pick Your Color

Choose your color in the Color list. ACC's color chart is in the pictures; screens cannot show carpet colors exactly, so ACC suggests ordering a sample swatch when an exact match matters.

Standard or Mass Backing

Standard backing comes with the carpet. For a quieter, cooler cabin, choose Mass backing in the Backing list: ACC's EVA mass backing, about 45 mil thick, blocks heat and road noise and helps the carpet look its best once it is installed. Its price is shown beside the choice, and the pictures include a side-by-side of the two backings.
