Proudly made in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets. New carpet is one of the most noticeable upgrades in a restoration. This 2-piece Cutpile set is made by ACC for the 1961-1964 Chevrolet Impala 2DR Convertible Auto, molded to the shape of the application, and comes in ACC's 801 Black Cutpile.

Standard or Mass Backing

Standard backing comes with the carpet. For a quieter, cooler cabin, choose Mass backing in the Backing list: ACC's EVA mass backing, about 45 mil thick, blocks heat and road noise and helps the carpet look its best once it is installed. Its price is shown beside the choice, and the pictures include a side-by-side of the two backings.

Add a Matching Sound Deadener

For a quieter, cooler cabin, add ACC's matching EVA sound deadener kit (12 pieces) from the Sound Deadener list, or leave it on No sound deadener. It lays under the carpet: asphaltic mastic laminated between a poly film and black paper, about 1/8 inch thick, installed poly side down and paper side up. ACC names EVA its most-used deadener for makes and models from the 1960s through the 1980s.
