Add a Matching Sound Deadener
For a quieter, cooler cabin, add ACC's matching Mastic with Pad sound deadener kit (6 pieces) from the Sound Deadener list, or leave it on No sound deadener. It lays under the carpet: jute padding laminated to a thin layer of asphaltic mastic with a black paper backing, about a 3/8 inch pad with 1/16 inch of mastic, installed pad side down. ACC names Mastic with Pad the most common deadener in Corvettes.
