Add a Matching Sound Deadener
For a quieter, cooler cabin, add one of ACC's two matching EVA sound deadener kits (2 pieces, or 2 pieces (fits 1st Series)) from the Sound Deadener list, or leave it on No sound deadener. It lays under the carpet: asphaltic mastic laminated between a poly film and black paper, about 1/8 inch thick, installed poly side down and paper side up. ACC names EVA its most-used deadener for makes and models from the 1960s through the 1980s.
